About the Owner

Troy's passion for craft beer began in the mid-'90s, influenced by iconic spots like Waterloo Brewhouse and Celis Brewery. Home-brewing during college and his time at Applied Materials, where Celis Brewery kegs were a regular treat, fueled his dream to pay it forward and bring camaraderie amongst friends and community through craft beers. With an ideal location in Pflugerville, a dedicated team, and a strong community support, Prost Alehouse Texas brewery is set to deliver high-quality crafted beer. Troy and his talented team are looking forward to sharing their passion. So much beer, so little time. Come and drink with us!

About the Head Brewer

Please meet Kevin Decoud, our exceptional Head Brewer, a brewing maestro with over 6 years of successful experience in large breweries and brewpubs. His formal brewing education is the foundation for his passion, and he has held the esteemed position Head Brewer at renowned establishments such as Southern Roots Brewing Co, Bare Arms Brewing, Balcones Brewing & Distilling, and Legal Draft Beer Co. Anticipate an exceptional craft beer experience, meticulously crafted by the best in the business!

About the Taproom Manager

Please meet Bryan Cano, our stellar Taproom Manager & Bartender Lead, a dynamic professional with over 12 years of customer service experience. Renowned for his extensive beer knowledge, Bryan has excelled as the Taproom Manager at Oasis Texas Brewing Company and as a bartender at premier establishments including Oddwood Brewing, Quickie Pickie, the Drag Bar, and the Long Center. Bryan, along with his bar staff, is ready to create unforgettable and meaningful connections with every guest.

About the Logo

Renowned traditional Japanese artist Chris Trevino, also known as Horimana, crafted the distinctive Crown and Eagle logo for Prost Alehouse Texas. Having shared numerous adventures, including travels to Japan where Chris worked at Three Tides Tattoo in Osaka, Troy and Chris have cultivated a longstanding friendship.
